Reccomend a Swordsman build to beat Bison
The 1 on 1 against Magni has me tearing out my hair, The closest I've come was a Riposte build which took him down to 1/4 health although getting to him took a few attempts as if the wrong competitors spawned i'd get owned
I've only got swords and mainly sword skills, I'd show my build but cant figure out how to get those cool little icons up, where do they come from?
Cheers

Try this:
OQQUcmYS5aSliAGBGDGEGaCWBbFA
I snaffled that from someone else here, and it works a treat.
It consists of:
Ear Bite (no wiki link as of yet; it's a dwarf fighting skill)
[skill=text]Gash[/skill]
[skill=text]Final Thrust[/skill]
[skill=text]Riposte[/skill]
[skill=text]Deadly Riposte[/skill]
[skill=text]Plague Touch[/skill]
[skill=text]Grenth's Balance[/skill]
[skill=text]Endure Pain[/skill]
As for skill links, replace the {} with square brackets:
{skill}Endure Pain{/skill} gives you the skill icon.
{skill=text}Grenth's Balance{/skill} gives you the text with a floater like mine above.

This is what I used to beat Bison and I've got my crown to prove it!
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...0&postcount=10
An Icy Sword, of course.
EDIT: For the images of skills to show up, type [ c a r d ](Enter Skill Name Here) [ / c a r d ]
so for Gash, you type [ c a r d ] G a s h [ / c a r d ] without the spaces.
[card]Gash[/card]

Use this build if your reaction time is faster than a geriatric's.
Auspicious Parry
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Gash
Dolyak Signet
Heal Signet
Savage Slash
Distracting Blow
I've been able to beat anyone/everyone in the arena with this build. Magni is particularly easy, and Warmaster Tydus tends to be the hardest.

auspicious parry, riposte and some timing is all you'll ever need to beat him, you can spend the other 6 skillslots on skills to beat the rest...

[skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Galrath Slash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill][skill]Riposte[/skill][skill]Deadly Riposte[/skill][skill]Grenth's Balance[/skill][skill]Dolyak Signet[/skill][skill]Healing Signet[/skill]
10 STR

The point of the Galrath and Final Thrust is so I can kill the non melee guys. I had a great fight against Lukas, ripostes were being triggered like crazy. Magni was easy, use Dolyak at the beginning of the fight ans spam ripostes (don't use Final Thrust), when Dolyak starts to run out then use Grenth's and then continue

Grenth's Balance {E} is THE reason W/N is perfect for fights in the 1v1 npc arenas...

i used mainly this one...
but with a few mods
i changed grenths for ursan blessing [to help against the first 5 since ursan can go up against most and do enough damage b4 u die]
i changed flail to Berserker Stance since it works better with gettin the adren up
